Since 1990, we have established a reputation for our genuine interest in educating students and demanding nothing less than their personal best. We have not handpicked high achievers; we have helped produce them over many years.
With Chalkwall offering after school tutoring for students from Year 1 to Year 12, in Mathematics, English and NAPLAN, every student has an equal opportunity to succeed.
With our interactive lessons designed to help you develop skills and strategies to improve your writing and analytics, it’s time for you to feel confident in HSC English!
Our courses have been created to provide the vital skills, resources and attitude that a student needs to succeed in Maths.
This accelerated program will put you way ahead of your peers as you cover topics, terms or even years ahead, and by the time you’re learning it at school, you won’t break a sweat.
The last thing any parent wants is for their child to be a one exam wonder. We need to build on academic skills that will be effective for more than just NAPLAN. With this long term learning approach, our classes will have your child covered for NAPLAN and beyond.
It’s generally accepted that the first few years of a child’s life are the formative years and everything else tends to stem from them. If your child gets a good start in life, they’re more likely to be successful in later years whereas a bad start can lead to problems and make it much more difficult to progress.
As a parent, you want to give your child the best possible start so that future success is more likely. That particularly applies to their education where a good grounding in their primary years will make it much easier when reaching high school. At that point, your child might not see a point in a high school tutor.
Getting a good start in schooling is generally about having a sound grasp of the basics. In particular, that usually means concentrating on core numeracy and literacy skills because these form the solid foundation on which later learning is based.
At Chalkwall, our aim is to give young students a complete understanding of each component of English as well as a conceptual grasp of mathematics. Thus, a primary school tutor at our Sydney centre will ensure pupils can:
Mathematics tutoring for primary school pupils will concentrate on ensuring pupils understand measurement, geometry in general terms of points, lines and surface areas, and the relationship between numbers. Our aim is to ensure they have a clear understanding of concepts, so they’re able to deal easily with what they’re taught at primary school. This, in turn, will mean they’re better able to handle the challenges that high school presents.
There is nothing wrong with a primary school tutor in Sydney. Sometimes a student needs an edge in their studies and could use someone else helping them understand the material.
Like all our teaching at Chalkwall, primary school tutoring is based around the needs of each pupil. But it is part of a long learning process that will continue right throughout the child’s school life and beyond into adulthood. So it’s important that each child receives exposure to our tutoring methods at an early age because that will provide the greatest benefit and the very best chance of long-term success.
If you want your child to get the most from their life, to achieve their true potential, you need to take the long-term view. That’s what we do at Chalkwall because we know that anything that’s worthwhile is rarely achieved overnight. We don’t just look to the next exam, the next test or even to the move from primary to high school. We instead look at the student’s whole life and how best we can equip them to meet its challenges.
We can provide tutoring pre-school that will put pupils ahead of their peers when they go to primary school. We can introduce and reinforce concepts so pupils will be able to cope with new subjects because they’re already aware of them. In general, we’ll put all our pupils at ease and remove the stress of primary school since they’ll have the confidence of knowing they’re able to handle every subject and be successful.Read Less
